Awakened

Awakened are the various categories of creature type that people shifted into during the Cataclysm, and what people are now born as. An individual's type of Awakened is attributed to genetics and as such, means that a family of five could each be a different kind of Awakened, but will typically be of one kind. The categories of Awakened are what researchers have determined after careful study during the last hundred years. Each Awakened has its own specialties and weaknesses.

Aos Si

Those that have descended of any form of Fae blood.

Aswang

Those that have descended of cryptids, creatures, and constructs.

Haltia

Those descended of the humanoids thought to be mythological, such as elves, orcs, dwarves, gobkin, and such.

Max'ji

Those born of magic descended of mages, witches, wizards, and other wielders.

Nahual

Those descended of what once was thought as mythological beasts of any kind.

Get Creative

There may only be five kinds of Awakened to choose from, but there are countless creative options under each. On rare occasion, when submitting a character to an Intake Skald for approval, you may be given an alternate set of Awakened stats to choose from. You may choose from the traditional stats or the optional ones before entering play. There are a specific set of secret parameters for this to take place. Be as creative as you want when making a character and let your imagination run wild.

Be Aware!

As you gain saturation your Awakened features become more prominent when you recoalesce. It's best to start play with a simple version of your envisioned end goal for your Awakened features. When you regen you can add more details before going back into play.
