Midlund

Proficiency: Abjuration

Inefficiency: Divination

Numen: Ancestral Attunement - the people of Midlund cherish the things they create and try to preserve as much as possible. These folks have developed the ability to attune with an item after its lifespan has played out, in order to extend it beyond normal means. When the aether of an item is close to dissipating one can enact Ancestral Attunement to extend the aether for half it's lifespan longer. Can only be enacted on one item at a time.

You'll find weathered columns supporting contemporary walls, fractured windows framed by streamlined tin panels, and broken tiles forming intricate mosaic patterns alongside freshly laid bricks. The fusion of old and new showcases the resilience of the Midlundians. Each element tells a story – a fragment of pottery from a distant land, a piece of aged iron scrollwork, a snippet of elaborate carving – all connected by mortar and time. It's not only about the appearance of the buildings, but also their histories and the stories behind them. Every mosaic and repurposed material contributes to a rich painting representing the past and present.
