Gathering Genera

Base Body 10

Those good people who gather, produce, and reap the basic resources that everything is built from. They source the earth of the goods needed to support day to day life.

Angler

Tier 2: Fisher

Tier 3: Piscator

From lakes, to rivers, to swamp, to oceans, Anglers bring in an array of aquatic goods. From a multitude of edible water beasts, to plants that grow specifically in wet regions, to precious goods that can only be found by the waters side. These gatherers have a complimentary set of skills that assist them with their craft, from being grounded in choppy waters, knowledgeable in the ways of boating, familiar with  various knots, baits, and techniques, to reading the skies, and navigating by night.

Grazier

Tier 2: Farmer

Tier 3: Rancher

At the backbone of most large civilization lie the Graziers and the goods that they produce. Providing the majority of the stock for most markets, adept in animal husbandry, cross breeding and identifying plants, developing heirloom seeds, beast taming, beast training, and also often double as stables for the closest hubs of civilization. Many graziers start off specializing in a small selection of beasts and/or plant production.

Tier 2: Miner

Tier 3: Excavator

Optional Vagary: Inner Earth Orientation

Some of the most rugged of gatherers, these tough  folks are capable in dimly lit situations, spotting a valuable ore by even the slightest of glimmers, and can work their way through rivers, mines, relic sites, boulders, and mountains. With a keen sense for minerals of use, excavation, quarrying, well locations, hunting down natural resources, and have a penchant for explosives.

Trapper

Tier 2: Hunter

Tier 3: Jäger

Most cities and towns rely on Trappers to get wild game, pelts, furs, and beast parts. This trade provides a multitude of goods for many of the craft trades, for both  fine people's dinner plates and attire, resources needed for many of the healing genera compounds, and even components for aether casting. These trades people often know their way around many rural settings, beast habits, finding beasts, blending in with their surroundings, and luring beasts.

Survivalist

Tier 2: Forrester

Tier 3: Ranger

Seeming almost at home in any forest familiar to them, Survivalists are often able to find plenty to eat, just by taking a look around. They are capable of identifying poisonous funga and spotting wild edible items or those useful in crafting. The practitioners of this trade have the  ability to travel the flora without leaving a trail and can make shelter with minimal supplies. They do not often become lost and are regularly consulted by other gathering trade spheres for help in locating sources for their own fields.
